An alcoholic beverage is a beverage that comprises of around 3% – 40% alcohol. Alcoholic beverages are classified into three classes: wines,beers and spirits. They are rightfully consumed in many countries around the globe.Adulteration of alcohol takes place when alcohol isillegally diluted with water, deliberately packing them into new bottles to hide their true origin or adding poisonous substances to prove that alcohol is of superior quality. In most cases alcohol is adulterated withMethanol and ethylene glycol.Methanol is highly poisonous and can ultimately lead to death.
